MacKenzie Marie Hamilton, our 8 year old Welsh Corgi, Speed Racer, Champion Squirrel Chaser injured her right ACL on Jan 26 2008. After a trip to the Emergency Vet, and our own Vet, we were referred to Dr. Malnati's office for possible surgery.
Upon thorough examination he diagnosed MacKenzie with a torn ACL. He performed surgery on Feb. 6 2008, and we brought her home the next morning. The next two months were busy!
We bought a cage for her, to limit her running and jumping, held a retirement ceremony...her title is now Former Champion Squirrel Chaser, added a liquid glucosamine and chondroitin to her food, and had to convince her that she was in fact injured!
Her quizzical looks were directed at us every time she attempted to jump, run, and play with her brother, Jack (a Jack Russell/Beagle mix) and we had to stop her! MacKenzie is truly a people person, and Dr. Malnati is truly a doggie doctor. You cannot have found a better doctor to doctor your doggie!
Yours Truly,
Stephen and Kimberly Swetz
